The Lights: These

from 500 soft watts to 3,000 watts of pure power! This gives us wonderful control over our lighting, providing dual wattage output of 500 watts or 1,000 watts from each light. Many setups require us to light one side of a subject at full power, and the other side at 1/2 power, and these lights give us easy control with the flip of a switch. SoftBox: The softbox is simply
one of the most beneficial and helpful light-modifying accessories
ever invented, and the "Soft" part of its name refers
to the wondrous thing it does to the light. The soft, mellow, virtually shadowless light of the SoftBox caresses and beautifies your subjects - on a person, the soft light of the softbox gently hides the lines and wrinkles on the faces of our portrait clients, making them look younger and more vital than they really are (that's why folks pay photographers, y'know :) it's our job to make folks look as good as they can possibly look. Light Stands: These are excellent
quality, heavy-duty tubular light stands. These Brand New professional
light stands extend to a height of 7 1/2 Feet, and fold down
(fully assembled) to a tad over 3 feet for easy packing, storing,
and transport. These stands have a black finish which reduces unwanted glare; three vertical tubular sections, and three double-braced legs, which provide excellent stability in the studio or on location. |

Barndoors: Barndoors have movable and removable flaps, and mount on the front of the lights, and constrain the light to the area we want it to illuminate. Barndoors allow us to direct the light anywhere our creative little photographic hearts desire! We can keep them wide open, or close them down to a little slit when we want to highlight a specific portion of our subject. Just one more of the useful light-modifying devices in the well-equipped photographer's toolbox. |
